Borussia Dortmund moved up to fourth in the Bundesliga table after Mohammed Zidan's first-half goal gave them a 1-0 victory over struggling Karlsruhe on Friday.

FC Volendam won the Eredivisie basement battle against Roda JC, 3-1, but it was still not enough to lift them off the bottom of the table.
